The research paper was given as an assignment of 5-6 pages, it was one of the longest papers I’ve done. And probably the most enjoyable ones. My paper was about global warming. I wanted my audience to understand and spread awareness to our environment. Question themselves, what is making our planet die and what can we do to help reduce this? I actually learned more about global warming while doing my own research.
My process for this paper was a bit chaotic yet somewhat easy to do. I simply broke down the prompt question into small sections that were easier to answer. Afterwards, I started answering them. Answering them wasn’t so easy due to the fact that I had to be very specific and I am used to having my questions generalized. In Order to make my paper longer and more understanding to my audience I had to also be more specific. Lastly, I put each question together and wrote out my intro and conclusion. With text citation. I also added an image to make my paper pop out more.
Some of the things that I think I can work on are trying to fit in more text citations and making it blend smoothly with what I’m trying to put into my paper. Also, working on my grammar, my structure was a little off by the end of the paper.
Going into more depth about what my research paper is about global warming. Global warming is the increase of average world temperatures resulting in what is known as the greenhouse effect. Global warming is linked to climate change, we as a whole burn so many gasses it creates toxic gasses which aren’t good for living organisms. I try to draw the attention of my audience to spread awareness and ways how we as a whole can change this. By doing the smallest things little by little we are able to change the way we treat our environment and apply it to real life problems.
Some things I believe I did well are that I overall did good on explaining certain parts and answering the questions in order and correctly. I really think I could have added more. But I did decently for a research paper.
